CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Conway High School wide receiver, and University of South Carolina commit, Bryan Edwards has a tear in his meniscus, according to head coach Chuck Jordan.
Edwards injured his knee on Friday night against South Florence, adds Jordan. While no date has been finalized, Jordan says doctors may do the surgery to repair Edwards’ knee as early as Tuesday.
Jordan says Edwards will likely be out for the rest of the high school season, but they will know more after the surgery.
Edwards committed to play for the South Carolina Gamecocks March 28 after receiving offers from seven schools, including Clemson, Georgia and Virginia Tech, according to 247sports.com.
