LITCHFIELD BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Firefighters are investigating the cause of a beach house fire in Litchfield on Monday night.
The call came in at 8:42 p.m. as a chimney fire at a home at the end of Norris Drive, but the cause is still under investigation, according to Midway Fire Rescue chief Doug Eggiman.
Firefighters called in mutual aid from Murrells Inlet-Garden City, Georgetown county and city crews, Horry County, and Surfside Beach.
No one was hurt, Eggiman said.
