COLUMBIA, SC (WBTW) – As some county Disaster SNAP application periods kick off Tuesday, the South Carolina Department of Social Services would like to emphasize that applicants must wait for the designated start week for their county to apply.
The application period for Horry and Florence Counties is the week of November 16th – 20th. Operation hours are from 9am-7pm.
Both non-SNAP and SNAP residents in the affected counties seeking assistance may apply for the Disaster SNAP according to the schedule released by DSS.
