MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Meg Shavitz and Debbie Wilfong joined News13 NOW at 9 a.m. on Monday to talk about Taste of the Town in Myrtle Beach. Shavitz is the Chair of the event. Wilfong is the principal of St. Andrew Catholic School, which benefits from the culinary and social affair.
The 32nd Annual Taste of the Town will be held this Thursday, November 5th at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center from 4pm – 10pm.
Taste of the Town had to be postponed in October because of historic rainfall. The rescheduling also prompted an additional element: Attendees are asked to brink non-parishable food items that Catholic Charities will donate to flood victims.
