MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Crowds warmed up from the rain with some hot soup at the Souper Supper in the Market Common on Sunday.
The event was presented by the American Culinary Federation and benefits students looking to pursue a career in cooking, by raising scholarship money for people at local culinary schools.
Those who came out out just wanted to have a good time and sample some of Myrtle Beach’s best soup.
“This is actually the perfect day for a soup. If it was hot and sunny probably wouldn’t have like it as much, but we’re making the best out of it. Besides the puddles everything is good to go,” said Ryan Harter of Myrtle Beach.
