FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW)- State authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped from the Palmer Pre-Release Center in Florence County on Sunday night.
The South Carolina Department of Corrections says Seth Allen Grooms escaped around 8:00pm and an investigation and apprehension efforts are now underway.
Grooms is described as a white male with medium build, brown eyes and black hair. He’s listed as 5’10” and 215 lbs.
Police say the 26-year old has a tribal skull and dreamcatcher tattoo on his left arm and a cross with the name “Leroy” on his right arm.
Grooms was sentenced to five years for 2nd degree burglary from Dorchester County.
Officials are offering a reward for information that leads to his capture.
