MULLINS, S.C. (WBTW)- Captain Joe Graham with the Mullins Police Department says there was an elderly man found deceased in an abandoned home around 10:30 Sunday morning on Coast Line Court in Mullins.
Coroner Jerry Richardson says the cause of death is natural cause.
Police found the body next door to Alberta Brown’s home on Coast Line Court.
Brown says she’s concerned about the number of abandoned houses in that area.
“To know that a man had to stay in a house like that with weeds and trees all around it, grass growing inside that house, and snakes up under the house. How do we know if a snake didn’t bite that man,” Brown said.
Coroner Richardson says the name of the man has not yet been released because there are family members who have not been notified.
