Horry County Police ‘made contact’ with missing Conway teen

HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police report that they have “made contact with the missing 17-year-old” from Conway, reported missing by her mother November 13, and believe the teen will return home.

According to Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County Police, Symaria Shannon, 17, was reported missing by her mother when Shannon did not return home as scheduled and Shannon’s car was found abandoned at a nearby business.

Shannon is described as standing 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing approximately 116 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Lt. Denis says detectives have made contact with Shannon and “expect her to return to the area.” Lt. Denis did not report where Shannon is or when she is expected to return home.

Graham and Shannon are believed to be traveling in Graham’s car, a silver, 2003, VW Jetta with SC license plate LTL591.

Police believe Shannon may be with Ryan Graham, 26. Graham is currently on probation after serving time for having an inappropriate relationship with Shannon two years ago, Lt. Denis adds. There is an active arrest warrant for Graham for violating his probation.

Graham is described as standing 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing about 166 pounds and has multiple tattoos on his face and arms, and one that reads “Death before Dishonor” on his neck. Graham and Shannon are believed to be traveling in Graham’s car, a silver, 2003, VW Jetta with SC license plate LTL591.
