HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Horry County Police officers are searching for the man who they say threatened a convenience store clerk with a knife and robbed the Conway store Tuesday night.
According to Lt. Raul Denis, officer responded to an armed robbery call at the Sunhouse Convenience Store, located at 2698 Hwy
90, in Conway around 8 p.m. Tuesday. The female clerk told police that a man came in showing her a knife and demanded the cash drawers.
No one was injured during the robbery. The suspect made off with an unknown amount of cash, cigarettes and other merchandise from the store, adds Lt. Denis. The robber is described as a white male, 30 to 35 years old, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a tattoo of an Asian or Chinese symbol under his right eye. The suspect was last seen wearing a toboggan, a dark long sleeved shirt, and jeans.
