CONWAY, SC (WBTW)- Changes are on the way for Brooks Stadium as Coastal Carolina University prepares to make the move to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision and the Sun Belt Conference.
The CCU Board of Trustees approved the University administration to move forward with a plan to enhance the stadium. The costs is not to exceed $38 million dollars.
The Chanticleers will officially join the new conference on July 1 of 2016. The additions will help the stadium reach the standards required at the FBS level.
The drawings are still preliminary. No set capacity has been announced.
