HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Police arrested a Little River woman after the Department of Social Services investigated accusations of child neglect and a 1-year-old toddler tested positive for marijuana.
Horry County Police document on an incident report dated November 30, that 24-year-old Katie Hill, of Little River, failed a drug
test given to her on behalf of DSS when the test came back positive for marijuana. Police state a 1-year-old little boy also tested positive for marijuana when tested by case workers.
Test results were given to officers and the toddler was placed in the care of a relative, the report states.
Hill was booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning. Online booking records show no bail has been set.
