MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Thursday night, hundreds of people packed movie theaters across the Grand Strand to see the advance screening of Star Wars the Force Awakens.
The movie is the seventh in the series of films and fans young and old were out for the early showings.
News 13 was live at the Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach where some movie goers told us they waited for two hours in line to get the best seats. And some fans were so excited for the premiere they were dressed as characters from the films.
The movie’s official release date is Friday December 18th.
