LAURINBURG, NC (WBTW) – Laurinburg Police are searching for a man who has used stolen checks to pay for items at multiple locations in Scotland County.
A Facebook post from the Laurinburg Police Department says the man caught on surveillance camera at the Scotland Crossing Food Lion and the Laurinburg Walmart presented a stolen check for payment in both stores.
Stolen checks used at the Food Lion and Walmart were from the same bank account, police say. If you recognize the man in the photos released by police, please contact Detective Williams at 910-291-1755 or 910-276-3211.
