MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW)- Police responded to a burglary complaint on Pinner Place in Myrtle Beach late Friday night.
Police say the victim reported leaving earlier in the evening and returning around 10:45pm to find the power meter to their home missing and leaving them with no power. According to a police report they noticed their back door was broken with a metal weight.
The victim also reported noticing a firearm and $500 in quarters stolen from the bedroom.
Police searched to gather any evidence and contacted Santee Cooper to repair the meter.
