DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – At least two road closures have been reported Thursday morning due to flooding in Darlington and Florence Counties.
According to the Darlington County Sheriff’s Office, Bethea Road remains closed as the Bethea Pond has topped its dam. Deputies have places traffic cones on the road, blocking traffic from attempting to cross in both directions.
South Carolina Highway Patrol reports East Pocket Road, between TV Road and South Charleston Road in Florence County is also closed.
As holiday travel is underway for many, South Carolina Department of Transportation has released a road closure map for the entire state.
