CONWAY, SC – Police are investigating a Christmas Day armed robbery at a Conway-area restaurant.
Lt. Selena Small, spokeswoman for Conway Police, says the incident happened at New Kona Restaurant, located at 117 Rivertown Blvd. Police say just after 5 p.m., a man armed with a knife entered the business and stole a register.
Investigators believe he may have left the area in a white Ford Ranger traveling towards US-501.
Small says an employee received a minor injury during the robbery.
