MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Residents who live between 32nd Avenue North and Pinewood Road, from Kings Highway to Little River Road, can expect sewer maintenance activity in their neighborhoods beginning the week of January 4.
The City of Myrtle Beach has contracted with Municipal Sales, a sewer root control company, to perform this work, which is expected to take less than two weeks.
Crews from Municipal Sales will treat sewer lines to control the growth of roots and maintain operation of the sewer system, according to city officials. Where the sewer lines are on private property, the contractor may need access to the residents’ property. The map above illustrates the areas involved.
If a crew from Municipal Sales needs access to your property, someone will be able to provide identification. If you have any questions about this effort, please call the Myrtle Beach Public Works Department at 843-918-2000.
