Deputies search for man wanted in Calabash home break-in

CALABASH, NC (WBTW) – Detectives with the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the community’s help in locating a man wanted for breaking into a Calabash home.

According to Sheriff John Ingram, 46-year-old Luther Melvin Johnson, II, is wanted for breaking into a home on Thomasboro Road in Calabash on January 12.

Johnson’s last known address is Wyndale Drive in Oakvale, West Virginia. Sheriff Ingram says Johnson is wanted for breaking and entering and for larceny after breaking and entering.

Johnson is a white male, approximately 6’3” tall and weighs roughly 240 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He is thought to be driving a gold, Ford Taurus.
