DARLINGTON COUNTY S.C. (WBTW)- A South Carolina State Trooper is recovering this morning after an overnight car accident.
Sheriff Wayne Byrd with the Darlington County Sheriff’s office said the trooper was on his way to an accident on Antioch Road around 11:00pm Friday when he ran off a road and onto a curb in the Dougsville area.
The trooper was taken to Carolina Pines Regional Medical Center in Hartsville.
Byrd said the trooper’s injuries were not life-threatening.
