MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The City of Myrtle Beach is beta testing a new app for bicyclists that will display biking trails throughout Market Common and allow cyclists to report accidents.
The city posted on its Facebook page Monday morning that the idea for the app came from a suggestion from the Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Committee. The city’s Geographic Information Services staff has created BikeMB, a new mobile device app that shows bicycle trails in The Market Common.
It also lets riders log bicycle accidents they may have had throughout the city. View and test the app here.
