MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – A Myrtle Beach man is behind bars after officers responded to an emergency call at a convenience store where a young girl was reportedly touched inappropriately.
A Myrtle Beach Police report documents that officers responded to Lauren’s Food Mart, located at 2502 South Ocean Blvd., August 24, around 1 p.m. Upon arrival, officers met with a woman who told them that her daughter had been touched in her private area by Gary Dale Finney, 47, of Myrtle Beach.
Police report Finney is charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 11 in connection with the incident. Finney is currently booked into J. Reuben Long Detention Center where no bail has been set, according to online booking records.
