PAWLEYS ISLAND, SC (WBTW) – Georgetown County officials say a body has been discovered off of Bannockburn Drive in Pawleys Island Thursday evening.
Carrie Weaver, Public Information Officer for Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office, says a body was found in the marsh at 504 Bannockburn Drive south of Hagley Landing in Pawleys Island Thursday evening, but could not release details surrounding the investigation.
Weaver says no further information is available at this time, and details regarding the race or sex of the body have not been released.
