GEORGETOWN COUNTY — The Village Group in Georgetown County is celebrating its 10th year in 2015.
The group helps expand or advance students’ education through summer and weekend programs. It also offers test-prep and literacy courses.
The Village Group is a non-profit organization. To celebrate a decade of service, the group will hold a 10th Anniversary Gala.
It takes place October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in Pawleys Island. It will feature Molly M. Spearman, the State Superintendent of Education in South Carolina as a speaker. News13’s Meghan Miller will also emcee the gala.
