HARTSVILLE, SC (BWTW) – Hartsville Police responded to an alarm call early Sunday morning and arrested three teenagers.
According to a press release from the Hartsville Police Department, the juveniles are accused of breaking into the Tobacco Market at 333 South Fifth St. Police say they found a broken window and three juveniles, two 13-year-olds and one aged 14, still at the store.
Store merchandise was recovered valued at approximately $200. All three Juveniles were transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice Detention Center in Columbia to await their hearings, police report.
The city has a curfew ordinance from midnight to 6 a.m. for those 16 and under, with the goal of holding parents accountable for the location and activities of their children.
