CONWAY (WBTW) – Coastal Carolina defeated Presbyterian 4-2 on Saturday afternoon at Springs Brooks Stadium.
Coastal hit three home runs in the win, including two in the eighth inning. Seth Lancaster, Connor Owings and G.K. Young all hit homers for Coastal. Owings also extended his hit streak to 15 games.
Colton Springs suffered the loss for Presbyterian, allowing the two home runs in the eighth.
With the win, the Chanticleers have now won six games in a row. They are 13 and 1 over their last 14 games.
The teams will conclude the series on Sunday with first pitch set for 3 pm.
