HORRY COUNTY, SC (WBTW) – Two Conway women are charged with attempted murder, as well as numerous other charges, for their reported responsibility in an armed robbery at a Loris home earlier this month, according to police.

Lt. Raul Denis with Horry County Police says officers responded to a home on McNabb Shortcut Road in Loris on September 20 around 4 a.m. The emergency call came in as an armed robbery and shooting that happened at the home.

The victim told police that he had been cut during a fight with several people. The victim explained that the suspect came to his home to borrow money but instead tried to take his wallet out of his hand in a robbery. Two suspects fired shots during the robbery but fortunately no one was hit, confirms Lt. Denis.

Detectives have arrested two women in this case. The investigation is ongoing.

Sabrina Alford, 21, of Conway, was arrested on September 22, and is charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Kimberly Hathway, 26, of Conway, was arrested Wednesday. She is being transported to the J. Reuben Long Detention Center where she will be charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime, according to police.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact the Horry County Police at 843-915-8477 (TIPS).
