NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Construction plans for Robert Edge Parkway have changed due to the inclement weather, according to the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
SCDOT officials say the eastbound lanes will remain closed through the late evening of Tuesday, October 06. Once the concrete roadway patch is placed and finished in the right lane, Triangle Grading & Paving intends to reopen the eastbound left lane only.
Given the necessary time frame to properly cure and seal the concrete roadway patch, both eastbound lanes should be opened to normal traffic on the evening of October 9, officials add.
