Sheriff Kersey says Daniel Scott, 29, and David Emanuel, 20, both of Maxton, NC, were arrested for various illegal narcotic related offenses, including trafficking cocaine, conspiracy to traffic and conspiracy to sell cocaine and maintain a vehicle for purpose of a controlled substance.

Scott and Emanuel were placed in the Scotland County Detention Center. Scott was placed with “no bond” status due to his current probation, confirms Sheriff Kersey, and Emanuel was placed under a $250,000 secured bond.

Agents identified a third suspect, Darian Renae Oxendine, 19, of Red Springs. Oxendine was arrested a few days after the September 25 bust. She was given a $25,000 bond for cocaine trafficking charges.

The fourth suspect, Scottie Parker, of Pembroke, NC, is charged with cocaine possession as well as selling and delivery of the drug.
