ROBESON COUNTY, NC (WBTW) – Detectives with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office say they are searching for a Laurinburg man wanted for murder after allegedly killing a man last month.
Major Anthony Thompson says detectives need the community’s help locating Quatrell Damar Nicholson, 24, of Laurinburg. Nicholson is wanted for first degree murder in the killing of Rodney Kirk Murphy on September 28.
Major Thompson says Nicholson is also wanted on charges of conspiracy to robbery with a dangerous weapon, three counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, four counts of first degree kidnapping of a person older than 16-years-old, two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
