CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – Conway Police arrested a man they said caused a commotion inside a bank last week.
Lessonly Stanley, 58, was charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery in the third degree after an incident inside South State Bank on Friday.
An employee at the bank told police Stanley, who is a customer, came in and demanded information about an account under his name. The employee said Stanley became irritated and very loud, and when a supervisor came to investigate, Stanley became even more disruptive. The supervisor said he was going to call police if Stanley did not leave, and then said Stanley threatened to kill her.
Police were able to match up Stanley’s name on his account with a prior arrest record.
Stanley was still in J. Reuben Long Detention Center as of Wednesday morning.
