MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – The Convention Center was packed Thursday night, and by 7:45 pm the attendance was 6,499 as locals and visitors indulged in tasty tidbits from 50+ restaurants at this year’s 32nd Annual Taste of the Town.
During this highly acclaimed event, which benefits St. Andrew Catholic School, the restaurants vied for culinary bragging rights as they competed for judged awards in the categories of Best Entrée, Best Dessert, and Best Booth Design. Awards were also given for People’s Choice and Kid’s Choice, in which attendees were polled at random to vote for their Favorite Restaurant (Entrée) and Favorite Restaurant (Dessert).
Taste of the Town is proudly presented by St. Andrew Catholic School, and this year’s event was sponsored by HTC, McDonald’s, Sysco, Beach Automotive, Maguire Law Firm, and WBTW News 13.
