PENDLETON, S.C. (AP) – South Carolina officials are offering a reward for clues as they search for the killer of four people still on the loose.
Multiple media organizations reported that Anderson County sheriff’s officials said Sunday they want the public’s help to find who killed a married couple and both their two mothers in a home they shared in Pendleton.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said last week all were shot to death on Nov. 3. Officials now say they could have been killed the previous day. Pendleton is about 130 miles northwest of Columbia.
Dead are 58-year-old Mike Scott; his wife, 60-year-old Cathy Scott; Mike Scott’s mother, 80-year-old Barbara Scott, 80; and Cathy Scott’s mother, 82-year-old Violet Taylor.
