Horry County Police search for a 31-year-old man accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl in June.
Investigators identified the man as Kevran John Wedderburn. He is described as a black male, standing 5’9″ and weighing approximately 160 pounds with black hair. Police say Wedderburn is originally from Jamaica and may have an accent.
According to an Horry County Police Report, the incident occurred on June 26 around 3:30 a.m. near the Garden City Pier. The victim told police she and a friend met up with Wedderburn after meeting him in a convenience store.
