NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – An American Red Cross shelter will open at 10 p.m. Friday after flooding in North Myrtle Beach called for some residents to evacuate their homes, according to executive director Nanci Conley.
The shelter is located at First Baptist Church at 200 Highway 17 South in North Myrtle Beach.
Conley said other shelters are on standby and will open if needed.
