FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW)- The Coward Police Department and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating a deadly crash.
Florence County Coroner Keith von Lutcken says the operator of a tractor was hit by a pickup truck on US Highway 52 in Coward Friday afternoon.
The coroner says the tractor operator died at a local hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the incident.
The victim is identified as 73-year-old Sam Cameron of Lake City.
The investigation continues.
