FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) Florence County Emergency Management officials are thanking the community for the support they have received in the flooding recovery effort but are asking that no more donations be sent to Florence County due to the amount that has already been received.
“We would like to say thank you to all those who have donated items to those in our county who were affected by flooding,” Florence County Emergency Management PIO Andrew Golden said. “But because we have received so many donations of clothing, water, food, diapers and other disaster supplies, we believe we can fulfill the need in the county with what we have already received.”
They say they will continue to work on a case to case basis with citizens who are in need of assistance and partner them with organizations as the need arises.
