FLORENCE (WBTW) — Florence Police arrested a man they say shot his wife during a fight early Wednesday morning.
According to Major Carlos Raines, 72-year-old Robert Clarke is charged with attempted murder after his arrest at his home on Queen Road.
Raines said Clarke shot his wife several times, and she was recovering at the hospital.
Clarke was booked into the jail in Effingham after 5:00 a.m. Wednesday.
